Someone challenged me to try to write a list of 100 things about myself... seriously harder than you think it would be. So here's my list:
1) I bite my nails... I just can't stop it!
2) I am a very picky eater... I will order something and tell them to hold 4 of the 5 main ingredients.
3) I absolutely live for pasta--or any carb!
4) I live in organized chaos... although my goal is to try to live a more organized life.
5) My Family is probably the most important thing to me!
6) I love numbers... they make sense to me
7) I just got into Sudoku, but now I can't stop - brings me back to number 7!
8) As a little girl I totally wiped out on my bike. I was on a gravel road with fresh gravel and the bike went out from under me. I road home with my knees and elbows totally dripping in blood... I still have a major scar on my elbow from it!
9) I only have a couple of VERY close friends...
10) My Mum is one of those friends!
11) I love things that are black and white... just not grey!
12) I shouldn't care what people think... but I kinda do!
13) I really don't like chips...
14) At one point I didn't even want kids... now I wouldn't trade mine for the world.
15) I love listening to my Mum give a talk, speech, or lesson... she is AMAZING at it!
16) I enjoy snowboarding... but I'm not very good at it.
17) I enjoy scrapbooking--i find it a peaceful, relaxing hobby!
18) I don't like needles... AT ALL!!
19) My front 8 teeth (4 top and 4 bottom) are fake or partially fake. I rolled down a hill as a teenager and didn't see the fence at the bottom before hand. I totally crashed into the pole of a chain link fence and busted my teeth - it was bad, very bad!
20) I like boy names for girls - when Austin was born it was a choice of name for a boy or girl!
21) Bad breath is the worst turn off for me.
22) I really like being outside in warm weather - not so much in the cold
23) I think Audrey Hepburn is an amazing actress
24)I am not very flexible... in fact.. sitting on the floor with the my legs straight and back straight... is VERY painful for me!
25) I enjoy watching mindless chick flicks
26) I absolutely LOVE CHOCOLATE... milk or dark...
27) White chocolate is disgusting... it gets no love from me :)
28) I love going to bed in fresh bed sheets....
29) I sing and dance in the car
30) If I could travel anywhere I would go to Paris... huge dream of mine!
31) History class in high school was my worst subject
32) Math and Biology were my best... to this day I still like them.
33) If I were able to eat a certain meal before i died it would be Pasta
34) I wish celebrities would give more money to help people... I don't think they need over 10 million to themselves... i think its selfish... why are they paid so much any ways... it's not like they are doing some incredibly amazing job???
35) I think it is weird when people are talking to themselves when you are right there... and you don't know if you should reply...
36) I only really like playing sports for fun... I don't like it when two teams are playing for fun...having a good time.. but then there is that one person who keeps track of the score!!!!!
37) I have always wanted to play a slot machine in Vegas...
38) I think my mother is the wisest person I know
39) I don't enjoy hiking.
40) I love music... almost any kind.
41) Crock footwear is unbelievably comfortable!!
42) I don't like just laying around while tanning... i would rather be doing something... walking, volleyball, swimming, ect.
43) I love quotes... inspirational ones
44) I value pictures...which takes me back to scrapbooking
45) I love Canada Day and the celebrations... maybe it is because I am from Raymond
46) I think its ridiculous when girls just go to school to find a man to marry
47) I like to just watch people--not in a stalkerish way... but at the mall... i like to see that the 'kids' these days are wearing... how they walk, talk, mannerisms...
48) My life list includes going to Grand Central Station in NYC just to watch people.
49) I am in the middle of writing a life list... I think writing something down really helps you achieve it
50) I like writing in pens that have thick ink
51) Flowers are wonderful! Flowers in yards, on plants, cut flowers, anything.
52) My favorite color is green
53) I wish i knew how to dance the tango, quick-step, waltz, ect.
54) I love cleaning my ears with Q-tips....mmm it feels sooo good!
55) Reality TV is like an addition to me.
56) My children are one of the biggest joys in my life.
57) I am terrified of needles, but have no problem giving them to someone or something
58) Reading is one of my favorite pass times
59) I would prefer to clean the bathroom than vacuum the floor... weird I know :)
60) I knew I would marry Todd the night we started dating.
61) There are a few moments in my life that will forever be in my memory
62) I hate red pens... not sure why... maybe I hated seeing them on my papers in high school and now I have some weird complex about them.
63) I can't stand humming or buzzing sounds when I sleep. That's why I can't sleep with a humidifier in my room at night.
64) Laundry is of the devil... why can't clothes just fold themselves. I don't actually mind washing the clothes, I just don't like folding and hanging them.
65) I name my plants. I have two right now... Frasier - which I brought at Ikea and nursed to health - and a spider plant named Chloe that I am desperately trying to get to live.
66) Fresh pineapple makes my tongue hurt.
67) I have never seen any of the Lord of the Ring movies, and I have no intention on watching them.
68) Down covers are the best blankets ever!
69) Chinese food is one of my least favorite types of food.
70) I love looking at beautiful scenery, but I don't really like photos of it.
71) Massages are one of the best things on this planet!
72) Me dying doesn't scare me, but people I care about... them dying scares the heck out of me!
73) I refuse to watch scary movies
74) Some of my favorite memories with my family are playing board games.
75) I have amazingly small feet
76) I have freckles everywhere! They aren't supper dark, but in the summer I turn into a total freckle face.
77) I am definitely not a morning person
78) I feel no particular pull to choose whether I like dogs or cats more... I like both.
79) Lots of pillows on a bed is great!
80) I can't stand to leave the house without mascara on.
81) Winter is my least favorite season
82) I love the rain! Especially warm summer down-pours!
83) Spanish is a language that I want to learn
84) Play parks are fun even if you're an adult.
85) Todd's and my initials are carved into a play park bridge in Lethbridge.
86) I think Tigers are amazing looking animals
87) Cruelty toward animals really gets under my skin
88) People who do obscene things to children makes me so angry.
89) The thought of someone doing something to my children scare me
90) I am a religious person, although I don't have all the knowledge I would like to
91) I miss my Dad
92) I am a very big procrastinator
92) My new obsession is Facebook... addicting!
93) I can't imagine a world without technology
94) I really love photography... one day I will take a course in it

97) Politics don't really interest me... they probably should, but they just don't

99) I have learned the hard way about how hard it is to get out of debt
100) Hearing my children laugh is one of my favorite sounds ever!
