Do you think my kid is bored?

So for the last little while Brighton has been a bit trapped inside the house. Between some really cold weather and my ankle, we haven't been out much lately. Well today he decided that he wanted to play in the dirt - well at least in the dirt from my spider plant.

So, it's not like he just dug in the plant pot, oh no! He pulled the whole plant off the counter and dumped it on the floor. Of course it had to be my baby spider plant that I am trying to grow from a shoot. At the moment I am so glad we decided to lino my dinning room and not keep the carpet like what was originally there. He was also trying to iron the dirt, which has made a right mess out of my iron.

So this is where Brighton sat while I cleaned up the mess and tried to revive my plant. He even proceeded to eat the dirt that was on his hands while he sat and watched. He even made a point of giggling while I cleaned up, which isn't easy with my ankle being messed up. And of course, because that is the way life goes, Austin decided he was hungry at the same time that all of this is going on. I love my children - some days more than others :)
